The Idea WellOnHealth ® began with one simple goal. We want to make the world of health and wellness understandable to empower your life with the help to make the appropriate choices, apply them easily, and take control of your well-being.
When did we begin this journey?
30 years ago, a 5th-grade medical student feels a swollen lump below his ear.
He comes across with an ENT professor on the way to his internship ward. When the student shows his lump to the professor, he puts his finger to examine it and tells that it is a Parotid Tumor and has to be removed. The med student anxiously asks how risky it is and what would be the consequences. The answer was devastating:
“You may have a hemiplegia or even die”.
The whole communication was only 2 minutes from start to end. The med student’s world had fallen apart. Desperately he goes to search the fact he faces. When he checks the textbooks, he learns that the Parotid Tumor is not cancer nor a malignancy and it may be removed with very low risk.
30 years later that med student (Founder of WellOnHealth®) decided to find a solution for the increasing and sometimes dangerous availability of unreliable health contents, treatments, and wellness knowledge through the internet. Neither everyone being a physician, nor having a doctor spouse, waiting to meet a physician for answers or not having enough budget and lack of health insurance, would delay their wellbeing.
As a cardiovascular surgeon, I believe that prevention, healthy living, and measures taken for well-being are more important to stay healthy than seeking treatment, an operation, or medications. Not to even mention that it is easier-to-reach, easier-to-apply, and more affordable…
That’s why from the very beginning the WellOnHealth® site has been all about making sure that people are given the information they need to make informed, well researched and specialist edited contents.
How you feel affects every single day of your life, which is why you work so hard to stay healthy and feel well. Regardless of your life preferences, we’re here to support, guide and inspire you.
We cut through the confusion with simple, expert-reviewed, individual-first experiences- all developed to help you make the most effective choices on your own as well as others you love.
